เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 12 มกราคมที่ผ่านมา ได้มีการประกาศรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิงรางวัล BRIT Awards ประจำปี 2019 โดยมี The 1975 และ Anne-Marie นำโผ มีชื่อเข้าชิงหลายรางวัล รวมถึงรางวัลใหญ่ British Album of the Year
ส่วนศิลปินชาวอังกฤษด้วยกันที่เป็นที่สนใจของชาวไทยก็มี Arctic Monkeys และ Gorillaz ที่มีชื่อเข้าชิงในประเภท Best British Group อีกทั้งสาว Dua Lipa เพลงของเธอถึง 2 เพลงด้วยกันก็สุดฮอตเข้าชิง Best British Single และ Best British Artist Video Of The Year
ส่วนศิลปินจากฝั่งอเมริกาก็มี Twenty One Pilots ก็มีสิทธิ์ลุ้นรางวัลสาขา Best International Group อีกทั้ง Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, และ Cardi B ก็เข้าชิง Best International Female Solo
พิธีประกาศผล BRIT Awards จะมีขึ้นในวันที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์
