งานวันสุดท้ายของเวทีประกาศรางวัล MAMA 2022 ได้สิ้นสุดลงแล้วที่โอซาก้า ประเทศญี่ปุ่น!
วันที่ 30 พฤศจิกายน ซึ่งเป็นวันที่ 2 ของงาน 2022 MAMA Awards จัดขึ้นที่ Kyocera Dome ในโอซาก้า โดยมีพัคโบกอมรับหน้าที่เป็นพิธีกร
โดยในวันที่ 1 ของการแสดง เมื่อวันที่ 29 พฤศจิกายน มีการมอบรางวัล Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year, Favorite New Artist, Worldwide Fans’ Choice (Bonsang), Yogibo Chill Artist และ Favorite Asian Artist
นอกเหนือจากการชนะรางวัล Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year ในวันที่ 1 แล้ว BTS ยังได้รับรางวัล MAMA Platinum พิเศษสำหรับการสร้าง “ปรากฏการณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมระดับโลกนอกเหนือจาก K-pop”
รางวัลแพลทินัมนี้ยังเป็นการยกย่องความสำเร็จ MAMA ของ BTS ในช่วงหลายปีที่ผ่านมาในรางวัลแดซัง (Grand Prize) ทั้งสี่ประเภท ได้แก่ Worldwide Icon of the Year, Artist of the Year, Album of the Year และ Song of the Year
ในขณะที่ BTS คว้ารางวัลแดซังกลับบ้านได้ 3 ใน 4 รางวัลในปีนี้ เพลงแห่งปีได้รับรางวัลจาก IVE สิ่งนี้ทำให้เกิร์ลกรุ๊ปน้องใหม่ที่ได้รับรางวัลศิลปินหน้าใหม่ที่ชื่นชอบในวันที่ 1 เป็นเพียงกลุ่มที่สามที่ได้รับรางวัลแดซังและรางวัลน้องใหม่ที่งาน MAMA ในปีเดียวกัน
